Now that I've owned this vacuum cleaner for over a year I think i can fully provide pros and cons. The great thing is that it picks up everything from your carpet and floors - including pet hair that my dog sheds all year long. The cons? if you live in anything beyond a one-story the vacuum cleaner is HEAVY. Carrying 25 pounds up and down the stairs is not easy. It was very awkward trying to vacuum the carpeted stairs as the claw did not have enough suction to pull out hair embedded into the carpet. Please note that i change the bag frequently. One of the attachments - with brush inside - that came along with the vacuum broke within 6 months. Great suction but these other things, especially the weight, became problematic.
